My hax global mode

Note: this service has been revived again to help get us through COVID-19 lockdown.

Global mode now uses dnscrypt-proxy at your end to selectively proxy traffic through the USA (and potentially other countries) to get around geo restrictions.

Setup

1. Install DNScrypt-proxy
2. Configure dnscrypt-proxy and make it your DNS server. There are a lot of different ways to do this, take a look at my dnscrypt-proxy.toml for inspiration.
3. Configure cloaking-rules.txt to selectively proxy traffic through gloal mode.
4. Nicely ask the person who runs this website to add your home IP to the ACL allow list.
